Amari earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, with High Honors, from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in December of 2025. She is licensed by the State of Texas as a Speech-Language Pathologist Intern and is currently completing her clinical fellowship year to become certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Before becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist, Amari worked as a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, gaining valuable experience in outpatient clinics, home health, and public school settings. As an SLP, she has experience working with both pediatric and adult populations, helping individuals improve communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall quality of life. She is passionate about providing evidence-based, individualized care and enjoys collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to help each person achieve meaningful and functional outcomes.

Outside of work, Amari enjoys traveling, reading, baking, building LEGO sets, working out, and spending quality time with family and friends.
