Gina Arrington, M.S., CCC-SLP
Gina received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997 at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. She relocated to Sugar Land, Texas to begin working as a speech therapy assistant in the schools. She worked with children in Fort Bend ISD for 4 years and graduated from Texas Woman’s University with her Master of Science degree in 2001. Gina specializes in working with young children with multiple handicaps including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and Down’s Syndrome. She focused her later work in acute hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and home health services with children and adults for the last 16 years. Areas of special certification include Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT), Myofascial Release, and VitalStim neuromuscular electrical stimulation for dysphagia. She is also skilled in reading approaches for children with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. Gina has an interest in collaborative work to ensure functional outcomes for children and adults with special needs. She has been employed with The Speech and Learning Center since 2017.
Gina and her husband have 5 children and live locally in the area. She loves to read, travel, and spend time with family.
